Nucleix Ltd. develops, manufactures, and markets innovative non-invasive molecular cancer diagnostic tests. The company’s highly sensitive and specific tests are based on the identification of subtle changes in methylation patterns. The technology is based on a combination of a new biochemical platform in conjunction with sophisticated algorithms. The company’s first product – Bladder EpiCheck is a urine-based test for monitoring of bladder cancer. Beyond Bladder EpiCheck, the pipeline includes tests for the detection of other cancers from blood samples, using its proprietary and highly innovative technology. JOB SUMMARY: The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for carrying out the incoming inspections of all laboratory supplies, warehouse organization, and inventory update and management through the Priority system at Nucleix. The Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator will report to Supply Chain Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform incoming inspection according to defined criteria for all laboratory supplies and reagents and validate that only approved materials are being used. • Manage the inventory of supplies through the Priority system accurately and meticulously. • Document incoming inspection within the Orcanos System. • Work in collaboration with the QA department to improve processes and in case of nonconformities arises. • Ensure constant laboratory supply availability for Nucleix lab and external facilities when needed. • Responsible for the organization and administration of the laboratory warehouse. • Effectively communicate any issues or problems and Contribute to the smooth operation of the laboratory and warehouse. • Ensure compliance with Company’s Quality Management System and support quality initiatives to maintain an environment of continuous improvement throughout the organization. • Support communications with suppliers on issues related to materials. • Perform other related duties, as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED: • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of self-motivation and organization. • Ability to learn and work with Priority system. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination abilities. • Team player with good communication skills and a can-do approach. • Ability to take responsibility and to work independently.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Student Position / Part Time 50% - Flexibility 2/3 Days a week. • Previous experience with PRIORITY management system is a plus. • Previous experience in supply/ warehouse management is a plus. • A student at the biological or chemical sciences – an advantage! • Experience with Office Software.
